Why Cooking?

Ive always asked myself why am i into cooking, and whats the purpose of pursuing this dream? My answer is simple, i love to create and innovate new recipes. Nevertheless i am yet curious to find out why you guys are into cooking, so answer a few questions here that will help me know what my readers are into!

Im guessing you're thinking what do i cook? or what do i enjoy doing. its simple i am in love with America and the american culture and their fatty and greasy food. That is why i call myself the Ameriki chef, a blend of Kuwaiti and American. So how about i show you the dishes i first cooked in my culinary life?

This is my take on Eggs Benedict, a well known American breakfast dish. Its is simply Poached eggs on the top of baked English muffins with the side of fresh greens salad. You're asking about the sauce? It's too early to reveal all my secrets!

This dish speaks for itself, its an all in one dish, to have your breakfast and sides all on one plate!  With an american omelet, 3 cooked to perfection Frankie Sausages and our home made potato cakes! This dish i will teach you all how to make in the near future.

This was a dish i created on Ramadan, i wanted to make something new and special. Kuwait has this dish called Balaleet, which is basically boiled spaghetti with saffron and a pinch of sugar. So i took this traditional dish and added the best well known american ingredients, Cheese and bacon baby!

Switch On Your Ovens!

As a cooking addict i can only imagine what people that share my passion go through. Kuwait is a lovely place, don't get me wrong, but there aren't any places where someone can professionally practice cooking. That is why i started this blog, to guide people, and train them. I am no google, but i think i'm alright.

Cooking Schools In Kuwait

I have heard a lot about future culinary schools opening in Kuwait, and this might help a few of you that are willing peruse their cooking dream and do not have the liquidity to leave the country.

The Umami Culinary School: I read about this on Shako Mako blog and they explained that it is a new culinary school that will open on December 2013. You guys can read more about this on their blog here .

Kuwait Kitchen Academy: Personally i find this academy the best choice to practice cooking at. Kuwait Kitchen Academy (KKA) is been recently established by a kuwaiti chef, Chef Tala. this place is filled with kuwaiti chefs that have been to the best and well-known culinary schools around the world and are here to share their experience with you guys and teach you what they have learnt.
